Eduardo Aires(PT)

Eduardo Aires is the founder and artistic director of Studio Eduardo Aires and an associate professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Porto. He is also affiliated with CIBIO – the Center for Research in Biodiversity and Genetic Resources – as part of the BIOPOLIS project. Since beginning his career in 1987, he has pursued a multidisciplinary approach to design.

Studio Eduardo Aires, based in Porto, is an internationally awarded communication design studio renowned for creating the visual identity of the city of Porto and for its strategic design work for the Government of Portugal. Their creative process is grounded in storytelling, rigorous research, solid strategy, and clear concepts—where ideas are nurtured and every detail matters.
